Hi, my name's Sam! I'm a black, queer woman from Los Angeles. I'm currently based in Chicago, IL.

I've been tattooing since 2022 and specialize in fine-line, delicate black & gray shading with the occasional pop of color. 

 

I love drawing edgy, feminine, spiky, cute characters, creatures, wings and weapons.  My art comes from what I call "The Vortex", which is swirly, whimsical, and fun as much as it is a dark abyss that sucks you right in.

I’ve been an artist my whole life. As a kid, I drew Sonic OCs and was largely inspired by manga, 2000’s cartoons, and pop surrealism.
